My love for Fantasy grew steadily during my teenage years and has now turned in to so much more. My love for Fantasy books is a part of me and everyone who knows me well enough, knows that this is my biggest passion.
I'm 21, a fulltime Biochemistry student and a parttime waitress. 3/4 of all the money I earn waiting tables, I spend on books. Everytime I enter a bookshop, I can't leave without buying at least 2 books. Just sitting between all the bookshelves and all those beautiful books, I feel at home.
More than a year ago I got the idea to share my love for books and create a blog about my favourite genre. It turned out to be such a wonderful experience! I love reaching out and sharing my thoughts about all those great stories and all the wonderful people I've met this way are a big bonus. But the best thing is feeling that your efforts are appreciated, that people read your posts and actually like what you're writing.
I mostly want to share my book experiences and maybe introduce some good books to other readers out there, so they can enjoy a good read too.

Review Policy:
If you want me to review your book, please send an e-mail to the following e-mailaddress:
draumrkopa@outlook.com.
I will consider every request I get, but may not be able to accept every single one of them due to time limitations or personal preference.
I prefer receiving physical copies. I recently noticed to reading lengthy books on a tablet really isn't my thing, so if your book is more than 200 pages, please consider sending me a physical copy. I will send you my snail mail address if you e-mail me.
Shorter books can be send to my e-mailaddress as an e-book.
As this is a Fantasy Book Blog, I only review Fantasy and Science-Fiction books, YA as well as Adult. I will, however, occasionally review a Horror book. So if you have a Horror book you'd like me to review, feel free to send me an e-mail about it! I won't spend as much time reading and reviewing Horror books as I spend on Fantasy/SciFi, so I won't be able to accept every request I get. Please understand that I will do my best, but I have my limits too, especially since I'm still and school and need some time to study too.
I post my reviews here and on Goodreads. If you requested a review, I'll send you an e-mail with the link to the blogpost as soon as the review is online.
I can give you an approximate estimation of when the review will be online, but this can change due to other obligations (school) or situations I didn't foresee. I will not contact you everytime I have to postpone reading your book, just know that if I accepted it, I will definitely read it and a review will be online as soon as possible.
I am also willing to help promote a book with author interviews, guest posts, blog tours, giveaways, excerpts, etc.
What do you need to include in your request?
- Your name
- The title of the book + name of the author
- A synopsis
- The cover image
- If possible, an excerpt or link to a sample
- Is it part of a series?
- Publisher
- Publication date
- Page count
- What format are you able to send me
- Websites (author, book, facebook fan page, ...)
NOTE:
All the cover images and blurbs used on this blog were found on Goodreads.
Just wanted to leave a quick comment and say that with you being a biochem student, I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Zenn Scarlett. The veterinary and bio-science in the book is extrapolated from my work volunteering with several exotic animal rescue groups, but it's still just "amateur vet" knowledge. In any case, hope you enjoy the read & will def be back to check out your review if you do one. Cheers! Christian Schoon
ReplyDeleteThanks! The book looks really great, I'm planning on buying a copy as soon as I can. I'll definitely keep the bio-science in the back of my mind while reading and put my thoughts about it in the review ;-) Thanks for stopping by!
